BR Double Broken Pessoa Gag Bit Combo Comfort – Soft Control with Variable Lever Action
Comfort in the mouth. Stability in your hand. Control when needed.
About this bit
The BR Double Broken Pessoa Gag Bit Combo Comfort is designed for riders who want extra control without sharpness. This bit combines a friendly synthetic mouthpiece with a stable metal core and the versatility of a Pessoa three-ring construction.
The double broken mouthpiece ensures even pressure distribution over the tongue and bars. Thanks to its anatomical design, the bit lies stably in the mouth, preventing pinching or point pressure. Suitable for horses that react sensitively to traditional metal bits or have difficulty with acceptance.
The three rings offer variable leverage. The lower you attach the reins, the greater the leverage effect. This allows you to fine-tune the action to your horse and training level.
Why choose this Pessoa Combo Comfort?
• Is your horse strong in the hand, but sensitive in the mouth?
The soft synthetic mouthpiece provides comfort, while the rings allow for extra control.
• Does your horse have difficulty with bit acceptance?
The FDA-approved synthetic material (without plasticizers or solvents) feels friendly and warm.
• Do you want flexibility in your rein handling?
With three rings, you can determine the degree of leverage yourself.
• Are you looking for stability without harshness?
The metal core ensures shape retention and a calm position.
• Do you want a soft transition between direct and leverage action?
Can be combined with Pelham straps for a more even pressure distribution.
Maddelin tip: Start with the top or middle ring and only build up if you find that more restraint is needed. Correct adjustment and a stable hand are essential.
