Leovet Anti-Chew Spray – Effective protection against chewing and biting
Stop gnawing. Protect your equipment. Without risk to your horse.
About this grooming product
Does your horse chew on wood, blankets, bandages, or even the manes and tails of stablemates? Then you know how much damage and frustration that can cause. The Leovet Anti-Chew Spray has been developed to quickly and effectively discourage unwanted chewing and biting behaviour – without harmful consequences for your horse.
The formula contains Bitrex™, known worldwide as the bitterest substance in the world. The taste is extremely unpleasant. As soon as your horse licks or bites it, immediate aversion follows. In addition, natural capsaicin (derived from chili peppers) enhances the deterrent effect – suitable for persistent chewers.
This spray can be used both preventively and correctively and is suitable for use on wood, textiles, and fur.
Why choose Leovet Anti-Chew Spray?
• Is your stable being gnawed?
Protect woodwork, doors, and fences.
• Do blankets or bandages break easily?
Prevents costly damage to equipment.
• Are manes or tails being bitten off?
Safe to use on coat and hair.
• Do you have a horse with stable boredom or stress behaviour?
Helps to specifically break unwanted behaviour.
Maddelin tip: Reapply the spray daily for persistent behaviour, especially after rain or intensive contact with water.
Note for competition: according to the manufacturer this product contains capsaicin. Capsaicin is on the FEI list of prohibited substances. Do not use it on a horse that is competing, and check the rules of your own federation.
