The Dy'on Flash Noseband Bridle from the Hunter Collection is a classic snaffle bridle in vegetable-tanned English leather. The slightly raised square browband and noseband, the cream stitching and the removable 10 mm flash strap make it well suited to the hunter ring and to riders who want an understated, well-groomed turnout. Reins are not included.
About this bridle
Dy'on's Hunter Collection stands for the traditional look: quiet lines, very little decoration, and the emphasis firmly on leather and finish. You see that here in the slightly raised square browband and noseband. The leather is built up along the top edge with a square profile, so the straps look fuller and the bridle gains more depth than a completely flat version.
A cream decorative stitch runs along those straps. It is a detail typical of the hunter style: just enough contrast to show the craftsmanship, without drawing attention from a distance.
The noseband comes with a removable 10 mm flash strap. This narrow strap passes under the bit and keeps the bit sitting more quietly in the mouth. Because it is removable, you effectively have two bridles in one: with the flash strap when you want that support, without it for a clean, classic look. You do not need to buy anything extra for that.
The leather is supple vegetable-tanned English leather. Vegetable tanning uses tannins of plant origin instead of chrome salts. Leather like this feels a little firmer at first, breaks in gradually and develops a deeper colour and a character of its own over the years. In return it does ask for regular care: wiped dry and fed in good time, it will last for years.
The buckles are stainless steel, which gives a classic look and needs little maintenance. The bridle is available in black and brown, in sizes Full and Cob, and is intended for both schooling and competition.
